The Ancon HTSS-150-2PT-W Tec Screw is a self-drilling high-thread stainless steel screw designed for use with the Ancon 25/14 Restraint System. This screw allows for the secure attachment of 25/14 channels to steel framing systems (SFS), penetrating through insulation and backing boards with thicknesses between 80mm and 129mm. The screw eliminates the need for pre-drilling due to its shaped drill tip, making installation quicker and easier.

This Tec screw is ideal for applications in both residential and commercial projects, particularly where the 25/14 system is employed to tie masonry cladding to a structural frame. Manufactured from stainless steel, the HTSS-150-2PT-W offers excellent resistance to corrosion, making it suitable for external use. For rigid insulation, it does not require a compression sleeve, but for more flexible insulation materials, the Ancon Compression Sleeve can be used to provide necessary support.
