The Ancon SDB 100mm Frame Tie with Drip is specifically engineered to provide robust lateral restraint between masonry and in-situ structures such as concrete and steel frames. Featuring a drip, this tie is designed to prevent water from crossing the cavity, ensuring that your construction remains dry and structurally sound. Manufactured from stainless steel for long-lasting performance, the 100mm length is ideal for cavity widths of 20-44mm. This versatile tie exceeds PD 6697 requirements, making it suitable for most construction types where cavity restraint is required. The box includes 250 ties.

The SDB Frame Tie comes with a 7mm diameter hole, making it adaptable for various fixings, including M6 expansion bolts for concrete and self-drilling screws for steelwork. 

Installation Instructions: Ensure the drip is pointing downwards and positioned centrally in the cavity to prevent water ingress. Maintain the outer brickwork one course below while installing the tie to keep it clear of mortar droppings. The recommended minimum embedment depth is 55mm in the outer leaf.
