FAQs
Can I mix Ancon ties with other brands?
Yes, if they share the same PD 6697 class—but keeping one brand per elevation simplifies QA records.
Are Teplo ties fragile?
No. The basalt-fibre shank resists site knocks; just avoid levering brick courses before the mortar cures.
Do ST1 ties need sleeves in 200 mm cavities?
Yes—add compression sleeves to stop lateral whip and meet design resistance.
Next-day delivery catches?
Order by noon, spend £200 ex-VAT; see delivery information for Highlands & Islands.
