The AlphaChem B1 Fire Rated Expanding Foam is a high-specification, one-part PU expanding foam that provides fire-retardant properties for professional construction use. This foam is fire-rated to EN 1366-4 and conforms to DIN4102-B1 Fire Class, making it suitable for applications requiring fire resistance, such as the installation of door and window frames, filling penetrations in walls, and sealing cable and pipe entries. The foam is supplied in a 750ml gun grade canister, allowing for controlled and precise application.

The foam expands to fill joints, gaps, and cavities, providing excellent thermal and acoustic insulation. It has a tack-free time of approximately 7 minutes and a cutting time of 30-45 minutes, curing fully in 24 hours. With a fire resistance rating of up to 235 minutes, depending on joint size, the AlphaChem B1 foam is an essential component in fire-rated installations. Its cured form is resistant to temperatures between -40°C and +90°C and offers a yield of approximately 41 litres per can.
