Installation Guidelines:

1. Preparation: Re-profile the SP/L brackets by hand to achieve the desired shape, ensuring they will penetrate at least 75% into the SP FireStop Slab.

2. Placement: Position the brackets at intervals of 500 mm (±10 mm) along the length of the fire-stopping slab, with the first bracket placed 250 mm (±10 mm) from the slab's end.

3. Fixing: Secure the brackets to the building structure using appropriate metal fixings suitable for the substrate material.

4. FireStop Slab Installation: Impale the SP FireStop Slabs onto the installed brackets, ensuring a tight fit within the cavity and tight butting between adjacent slabs to maintain continuous fire resistance.
