ARC Contract Closer CC125 125mm Cavity 125 x 2400mm (Pack of 6) by ARC Building Solutions

The ARC Contract Closer CC125 is designed for 125mm cavity masonry construction, closing the reveal at window and door openings to eliminate cold bridging and prevent moisture ingress. Supplied in a pack of 6 x 2.4m lengths with an integral plastic DPC built into the profile. Not fire rated: for fire-rated reveals, see the ARC Eco-Closer Plus.

The rigid PVCu profile uses an XPS insulation core with a thermal conductivity of 0.034 W/mK — the best thermal performance in the ARC non-fire-rated cavity closer range — making the Contract Closer CC125 particularly effective in wide-cavity masonry construction where cold bridging at the reveal is a design concern. Available for first-fix or second-fix installation; a single flange option suits check reveal details.

Where a fire rating is required at the reveal, the ARC Eco-Closer Plus is the recommended alternative.

Installation info:

First fix: build in jamb sections during brickwork progression using ARC Brick Ties at 225mm centres; hold sill with adhesive or nail. Cut jamb sections to opening height plus 75mm. Second fix: push-fit the CC125 into the formed 125mm opening and secure with nails or adhesive. Butt sill sections tightly to jambs with no gaps at corners.
