ARC Spandrel Barrier Double

The ARC Spandrel Barrier Double is a rockfibre mineral wool cavity fire barrier designed for twin-leaf spandrel panel assemblies, bridging both leaves of the external wall simultaneously to provide continuous fire protection across the full width of the spandrel panel. It is fully tested and third-party certificated by IFC (certificate number IFCC 1960), achieving up to 180 minutes fire integrity at the party wall cavity edge and up to 60 minutes between the spandrel panels and the blockwork to EN1366-4.

Manufactured from non-combustible rockfibre mineral wool (thermal conductivity 0.037 W/mK), the 50mm locating stalk positions the barrier precisely in the party wall cavity. No adhesive, mastic, or mechanical fixings are required — the weight of the spandrel panels provides the compression needed to complete the seal. The range is supplied in 1200mm lengths and covers party wall cavity widths from 50mm to 100mm, with external cavity dimensions to suit standard 100mm and 140mm blockwork construction.
