ARC T-Barrier Pitched Roof

The ARC T-Barrier Pitched Roof is a T-shaped rockfibre mineral wool cavity barrier designed for installation at the head of the party wall cavity where the brickwork meets a pitched or flat roof. It is fully tested and third-party certificated by IFC (certificate number IFCC 1728), delivering up to four hours fire integrity (240 minutes) and up to two hours fire insulation (120 minutes) to EN1366-4. It complies with NHBC 2017 clause 7.2.16.

The barrier sits in compression directly beneath the roofing membrane, held in position by the T-shaped stalk, with no mechanical fixings required. A minimum 25mm clearance is needed between the top of the wall and the underside of the roofing membrane. The range is suitable for use with both pitched and flat roofs, provided there is a party wall with a cavity and a 25mm gap between the top of the wall and the underside of the roof structure. Products are supplied in 1200mm lengths and are available in party wall cavity widths of 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm.
