OBEX CORTEX 0200FR Interface Sealing Membrane - 1450mm x 20m by Obex Protection

The OBEX CORTEX 0200FR is the first and only EPDM-alternative interface sealing membrane to achieve a Class A2-s1,d0 fire classification under EN 13501-1 — the highest fire rating available for this product type. Certified to BBA Certificate No. 17/5396, this 1450mm × 20m roll creates a robust weather-tight and air-tight seal at critical building interfaces, including window and door frames, curtain walling systems, SFS sections to concrete frames, parapet wall tops, and balcony details.

The 0200FR achieves a tensile strength of 7,767 N/50mm (MD) and 3,973 N/50mm (CD), with elongation at break of 27% (MD) and 35% (CD). It passes watertightness testing at 2 kPa and 60 kPa for 24 hours (EN 1928), maintains air tightness of less than 0.1m³ net leakage (EN 12114), and is classified W1 for watertightness. Cold flexibility is retained to −40°C.

Installation info:

Apply to clean, dry substrate using OBEX CORTEX 0210FR Paste Adhesive or OBEX CORTEX 0778FR Contact Adhesive. Overlap all joints by a minimum of 150mm and seal with OBEX CORTEX 0531FR Air & Vapour Tape. Use OBEX CORTEX 0901FR preformed corners at all internal and external angles.
