Vista V26 Double Triangle Wall Tie 250mm Long - Bundle of 250 by Vista Engineering

The Vista V26 Double Triangle Wall Tie is a traditional stainless steel cavity wall tie designed for masonry to masonry wall restraint in domestic and small commercial buildings. The classic double triangle profile includes a multidrip feature to help prevent moisture tracking across the cavity, and the tie can be installed either way up for ease on site.

This 250mm long wall tie is designed to suit cavity widths of 101–125mm and is suitable for buildings with a maximum height of 15m on flat sites. The 250mm tie is classified as a Type 2 general purpose wall tie, offering strength and performance where standard building conditions apply. 275mm and 300mm versions are also available as Type 3 ties for slightly different wind load conditions.

The V26 range is manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance and a long service life, and has been tested to BS EN 845-1 for both strength (as Type 2 & Type 3) and sound (Type B) performance.

Installation info:
Install the wall tie level or with a slight fall towards the outer leaf and embed fully into the mortar bed joints of both masonry leaves. Maintain correct spacing and embedment depth in line with standard cavity wall practice.
