  • Description

The Vista VE7D Frame Tie with Drip is a stainless steel frame cramp designed to provide secure restraint between masonry walls and structural elements such as concrete or steelwork. At 225mm long, it is suitable for cavity wall construction where increased cavity widths require a longer tie length and effective moisture control at the frame interface.

The tie is fixed back to the structural substrate and built into the mortar joint of the masonry leaf. An integral drip feature is formed into the tie to help prevent moisture tracking across the cavity, supporting long-term cavity performance while maintaining dependable lateral restraint. Manufactured from stainless steel, it offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance.

    Key facts:

    • 225mm stainless steel frame tie with integral drip
    • Designed to restrain masonry to concrete or steel structures
    • Drip detail helps prevent moisture transfer across the cavity
    • Provides reliable lateral restraint
    • Stainless steel construction for durability and corrosion resistance
    • Supplied in boxes of 200

This frame tie is suitable for new build and refurbishment applications where wider cavities are present and masonry walls require secure fixing back to structural elements while controlling moisture movement.

    Installation info:
Fix the tie securely to the structural element using appropriate fixings, ensuring the drip detail is correctly orientated to shed water away from the structure. Embed the masonry end fully into the mortar joint, maintaining correct spacing and embedment depth.
