  • Description

    The Timloc Thermo-Loc Platinum Plus Cavity Closer 100mm x 2.4m is an insulated cavity closer designed to eliminate damp and cold bridging around doors, windows and sills in masonry cavity wall construction. It is suitable for cavities designed around a 100mm width and is supplied in packs of 10 lengths that can be cut on site to suit specific opening sizes.

    This cavity closer provides a thermal break between the inner and outer wall leaves, helping to meet energy efficiency requirements by reducing cold bridging at reveals. The profile is extruded in rigid uPVC with expanded polystyrene insulation and achieves a thermal conductivity of approximately 0.031 W/mK, exceeding the minimum thermal resistance path of 0.45 m²K/W required in accredited construction details.

    The Thermo-Loc Platinum Plus range is suitable for standard cavity wall applications and is compatible with first and second fix installation methods. It also provides an effective damp proof course (DPC) at window and door openings to control moisture transfer and reduce the risk of staining and condensation.

    Installation info:
    Measure and cut the cavity closer lengths on site to suit opening dimensions.
