The Timloc Thermo-Loc Platinum Plus Cavity Closer 150mm x 2.4m is an insulated cavity closer designed to close the cavity at window and door openings in masonry cavity wall construction where a 150mm cavity is specified. It provides a thermal break and damp proof course to reduce cold bridging and moisture ingress at reveals.
This cavity closer uses an extruded rigid uPVC profile with an expanded polystyrene insulated core to deliver enhanced thermal performance. The insulation and design help improve thermal continuity around openings, supporting compliance with current energy efficiency standards. Thermo-Loc Platinum Plus is suitable for both first and second fix installation and is compatible with standard masonry construction methods.
The product is supplied in 2.4m lengths that can be cut on site to suit opening dimensions. It provides a continuous insulated barrier around jambs and sills, helping to improve overall wall U-values and reduce heat loss at openings.

Installation info:
