Support wide DPC rolls (>450 mm) using Hyload fixing strip at 450 mm centres.

Keep the drip mid-cavity — install weep vents every 450 mm above trays.
Torch-on membrane: prime concrete, heat-bond sheet, lap 100 mm side / 150 mm end laps.
Insulated DPC: place the EPS core against the cavity insulation to cut linear thermal bridging at thresholds.
Frequently asked questions
Is Hyload Original still allowed over 18 m façades?
Hyload Original is class E, so Regulation 7(2) bars it from “relevant” walls above 18 m. Use Visqueen A1 Zedex instead.
Torch-on vs High-Bond self-adhesive — when to pick which?
Torch-on suits large decks and podium slabs; High-Bond excels on vertical concrete or parapets where primer-free adhesion saves time.
Shelf life on Synthaprufe liquid DPM?
12 months unopened. Stir thoroughly if stored >6 months.
